MARIO TENG

I am a Singaporean filmmaker and podcaster. 

 

For the past four years, I have been directing, writing and editing short films that bring people together and explore the human condition. My two latest entries, Where Are You Now—a poignant documentary about love and loss; and Pete & Dave to the Rescue—a whimsical comedy in a galaxy far away, are still under festival consideration.

Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Social Sciences at Singapore Management University. From time to time, you may find me scaling the summits or hiking the trails with SMUX Trekking.

 

Besides that, I am also producing a weekly podcast, where I trace the historical and political developments of Singapore, from a backwater kingdom in the 1300s to an economic miracle by 2000.
